Travelling by plane
The Dubrovnik International Airport (DBV) in Ćilipi is about 30 minutes by car from the center of Dubrovnik. There are several transfer options from Dubrovnik International Airport to the downtown Dubrovnik.
- Transfers from the International Airport Terminal to the Main Bus Station in Dubrovnik for about 10 € (one way) and 14 € (round trip) are available at the airport. Platanus shuttle bus leaves about 30 minutes after each flight. The bus arrives to and leaves from the central Dubrovnik bus terminal in Gruž, from where you can take a walk or take an UBER to the venue (ca. 1.9 km).
- The taxi stand is located in front of the passenger terminal of building “B” (Domestic and International arrivals). If you opt for the taxi operators waiting in front of the terminal building, arrange the price in advance, insist on the receipt and credit card payment. UBER is reliable and easily accessible throughout continental Croatia. Note that UBER in Croatia has a TAXI sign, just as all other TAXI services. The cost from the airport to the hotel should not exceed € 30,00.
Travelling by car
From Zagreb you can reach Dubrovnik via A1 highway, followed by D8 expressway in sixish hours (about 600 km). There is a good news here. As from July, 26th, 2022, you don’t need to pass an infamous tiny strap of Bosnian mainland on your way down south to Dubrovnik, which usually included long queues to leave and re-enter EU, as Croatia opened spectacular Pelješac bridge which elegantly connects Dubrovnik with the rest of Croatia and EU.
Travelling by boat
Jadrolinija, a Croatian state-owned ferry and speedboat operator, provides regular service to Dubrovnik from Bari, Italy (ferry, twice weekly) and Split (speedboat, daily). Travelling by bus
Dubrovnik is very well connected with Croatian and regional centres by an abundance of bus connections. All buses to and from Dubrovnik depart and arrive at Main Bus Station in Dubrovnik, including all international bus lines as well as buses to major Croatian destinations (such as Zagreb, Split, Zadar).
