HTCC6 will take place in the Academia Akademis Dubrovnik, the first Croatian “akademis” (essentially, a tourist facility offering accommodation, meals and convention facilities, typically equivalent to a 3* hotel and intended primarily to host academic events and offering accommodation for students and participants of the various educational/scientific gatherings). The architectural project of Academia akademis won the “Vladimir Nazor” State Award for architecture and urban planning for 2020 and the “Viktor Kovačić” Award for the most successful architectural design in 2020.
Academia akademis is settled in Lapad, a residential district of Dubrovnik, at mere 2 km from the gates of the UNESCO protected old town, as well as from the main bus station in Gruž. The local bus 4 which takes you in no time to the gates of the old town has a stop conveniently located at 100 m from the akademis.
Lectures, demos, tutorials, student presentations, coffee breaks, sponsors’ exhibition and poster sessions will be held in the Salocha convention hall. Breakfasts and dinners will be served in the in the akademis restaurant, conveniently located next to the convention hall. Accommodation for all participants will be organized in the akademis.
