08/12/2025 | Aleksandar Višnjevac The Croatian Association of Crystallographers is proud to announce the first OLEX2 A to Z – from fundamentals to mastery workshop, to be held in Dubrovnik, at Academia akademis from April 27 to 30, 2026. At the workshop, the capabilities of this, undoubtedly the most popular interface for solving and refining small‑molecule crystal structures, will be presented by its very creators and the scientists who continuously develop it. The workshop is designed as a comprehensive journey through OLEX2, beginning with system variable settings and installation of the required software, continuing with a systematic overview of the fundamental tools and then the more advanced ones, and culminating in the demonstration of the complete process of structure determination and refinement on carefully selected examples, with hands‑on practice of OLEX’s integrated tools and functions.
