OLEX2_A2Z will be held at Academia Akademis Dubrovnik, the first Croatian “akademis” — a purpose-built facility designed to host academic events, offering accommodation, meals, and conference amenities. Functionally equivalent to a three-star hotel, it primarily serves students and participants of various educational and scientific gatherings.
Located in Lapad, a residential district of Dubrovnik, at the address: Marka Marojice 2, 20000 Dubrovnik, Academia Akademis lies just 2 km from the gates of the UNESCO-protected Old Town and 1.5 km from the main bus station in Gruž. Local bus line 4, which provides direct and frequent service to the Old Town, stops conveniently 100 meters from the akademis.
The architectural design of Academia Akademis received the “Vladimir Nazor” State Award for architecture and urban planning in 2020, as well as the “Viktor Kovačić” Award for the most outstanding architectural achievement of the year.
