10/04/2019 | Aleksandar Višnjevac New Statute of the Croatian Association of Crystallographers, e-voted by the CAC Assembly from Feb. 7th to 11th, 2019, was verified by the Office for the general administration of the City of Zagreb on Apr. 5th, 2019, and thus it was confirmed that the Statute is in accordance with the positive legislation of the Republic of Croatia and European Union. The main change with respect to the previous Statute is introduction of the institution of honorary membership. Honorary members are not members of the Assembly of the Croatian Association of Crystallographers, have no voting obligations/rights and do not pay the membership fee. They are, however, as a rule, distinguished members of the international scientific community and they contribute by counseling, advising and promoting, to the realization of the goals of the Croatian Association of Crystallographers.
